Online Japanese Lessons With a Japanese

My friend and Japanese sensei Kohashi Masato-san is looking for students who are interested in private online Japanese lessons, commissioned of course.
The lessons are taking place via Skype with a webcam. The quality is excellent and it’s almost like having the lesson in person! (And I’m talking from experience since I have personally taken private lessons from Masato-san at my home and now I’m continuing online, since Masato-san has relocated himself to the Czech Republic… long story).
All levels are available, from basic to high level.
The package is 5 lessons minimum per month. Each lesson is 80 minutes and costs 18 USD or 15 Euro. Payment is done via PayPal. If you pay for 10 lessons in advance it's cheaper.

So if you are interested or have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Masato-san by email: masatojq@hotmail.com
Masato-san is a good teacher and very nice person in my opinion, so really – feel free to contact him if you need any more details.

Thank you for your time.
Liron-chan and Masato-san.

Here you can find everything I ever drew, even the not so great (ok... horrible) drawings I have. I just love to share my art, the good ones and the bad ones.
To view only my Best Work please visit my Online Portfolio.

I'm always open for job offers, even for jobs abroad and especially if it's from the Disney Company :-) (Yes, I applied to DisneyCareer website AND even gave them a call with no luck). I'm currently living in Israel, but willing to relocate if the job is tempting enough. You can contact me by email (see info at the bottom).
I'm sorry, but I DON’T do Free Requests, Art trades, Collabs, Points, Promises to make me the next Disney or Miyazaki, etc, so I ask you kindly for SERIOUS PAYING offers only, especially for Animations ^_^ Thank you.
I am NOT looking for Composers NOR for Voice Actors at ANY time, so please don't contact me regarding this matter. Thank you.

I hope you'll enjoy my Art. Comments are always welcomed.
Also feel free contact me with questions/anything (please read the article&tutorial below first). I just ask kindly for your patience. I'm a busy person, and although I answer EVERY mail, it usually takes me a while to reply. Thank you.

And just to clarify - I don't work for Disney, I never worked for Disney, I am not related to Disney in any way, and I think they don't even want me there (tried to apply several times). My username is just one of my oldest usernames from my first days on the internet and I just happened to like it so I got stuck with it. And if you really think I should work for Disney, please send them emails, cause they don't answer to mine... Thank you, Love you all!!!

More Registration Options for Animation Course

~ More Registration Options For Online Animation Course ~

(For those who missed my previous Journal, please see all the details about the Course HERE)

Reviewing your feedback I am offering more Registration options for the Online Animation course.

:bulletblue: Registration for FUTURE courses:
People asked me if this course will be available again in the future. Basically I want this course running as long as there's demand.
But I also understand that people are busy or need to save money, and so I'm offering registration for future dates.
For now I'm offering courses for the beginning of May, June, July, August, September or October.
Remember that with one lesson per week, the course is about 3 months long + final optional project.
I wish to emphasize that registration (not course) if FREE with NO commitment. You can withdraw your registration at any time.
:bulletred: Only when you are set on a group, time and date you will be asked to pay for the course.
I do however need at least 3-4 people to open a group, so please be aware that there's still a chance you will register but a course will not be opened.
If you wish to be on the safe side please see the second option below.

:bulletgreen: If you are interested, please fill out this FORM.

:bulletblue: Registration for Private Online Lesson:
Private lessons will be according to the SAME group course with a few changes:
:bulletred: Lessons are private, one-on-one, you get full attention from the teacher.
:bulletred: Price for the private course is different and will cost: 499$ (USD) or 390€ (Euro) or 1800 (NIS) <<<<<< Pay Attention!
:bulletred: Payment is more flexible and will be divided to 4, meaning you will pay for each 3 lessons in advance (so 125$, 125$, 125$, 124$ for example)
:bulletred: Each weekly lesson will be a bit shorter, 1 hour and 15min long (75min). So it's 1 hour for the learned material and another 15 min for going over homework.
:bulletred: Lesson time fits your schedule, you don't need to consider other people.
:bulletred: We can start right away once you registered, you don't need to wait for a group to be filled up or for a specific date.
:bulletred: If you can't make it to one lesson, no problem, we simply postpone it and you won't miss anything.
:bulletred: All the other advantages of a Private Lesson.

The rest is the same: the fundamentals of Traditional Animation, 12 lessons, 1 lesson per week, 3 months course + 1 final project, weekly email support, etc.
Again, registration (not course) if FREE with NO commitment. You can withdraw your registration at any time.
:bulletred: Only when you are set on a time and date you will be asked to pay for first 3 lessons in advance.

:bulletgreen: If you are interested, please fill out this FORM.

If you still have any questions regarding the Online Animation Lessons, feel free to send me a note or email and I will be happy to reply.

Thank you for listening.
Your humble servant,
Liron Pe'er.

Hi, LP! I don't know if you remember me... I asked you about animation, that I was interested on it, etc...

I've started one animation on Photoshop CS4, but I've found some problems...
In the first hand, animation isn't fluid and I don't understand why, cause I've done each animation correctly. There's one way to do animation fluid? It is, transit from one frame to another fluid?

On the other hand, I don't know how to save the animation to use here in DA and I have wanted to show the animation here.

Thanks if you can help me :)

Hey.
emmm... not sure if I can help.
first, doing animation in PS from my experience is too complicated. mainly because PS is not really built for creating complex animations.
so I would recommand moving to Flash or toonboom or TVPaint or CTP or even use free software like Pencil or such.
as for exporting from PS - sadly I never done this before. the icon I have I composed in AE and exported to gif. I don't know how to export movie files from PS, sorry.
as for posting on DA - if you want to post a movie file (not flash file SWF) you need to ask permissions from DA first (ya, it's stupid) and tell them why bla bla show samples. then when they approve they open the option for you to upload movie files (like mov, mp4, avi etc), then you do the same process with pictures.

now. how to make an animation fluid? well, sadly this is such a complex answer I don't see any why I can write it all down here. there is no one trick that I can tell you "do this and your animation will be amazing", it's built on several concepts in hand drawn animation. I'm sure you are asked how you make your painting so smooth and beautiful and I'm sure you answer that it takes time and practice to get to this level, there are no shortcuts.
in animation we use timing and spacing, keyframes, breakdowns, inbetweens, the work process, exposure sheet, squash, stretch, overlaps, guidelines, model sheet and the list goes on. this is something that takes a lot of time to learn and practice to master. if you can go over "the animator's survival kit" and for every chapter do the samples he did in the book, you will learn a lot from this.
one thing I can think of maybe to start with something is have for every drawing no more than 2 frames per second of screen time. so if your animation is played on 30 fps then you need at least 15 drawings in it. basically the more drawings you have the more fluid the animation will be.
but again, if you don't know how to use the principles of animation, you'll see have problems with proportions and timing, so I'm not sure if this will solve your problem.

Sorry I couldn't help more.
I'm running a paid course now on hand drawn animation, if you are interested please consider registering.
good luck!
