Hidarime Tantei EYE? It's a crime drama that I just finished watching, based on a drama special (movie) with the same name. It's about this boy who gets a cornea transplant form his brother, and he starts to see things related to a bunch of crime plans and such.
it's sounds interesting, but it's mostly for my mom and she's looking for the romance with some hot looking guys (don't ask). but I'm looking not for the usual mushy romance, I'm looking for something a bit special, like "coffee prince" if you saw it. thank you anyway
Ikebukuro West Gate Park (IWGP), its a japanese drama with the same actor as my boss,my hero Nagase Tomoya. Alos you should check out, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Hana Kimi) annnnnd Atashinchi no Danshi
You should definitely see Queen Seon Deok (sometimes spelled Seondeok or Seon Duk etc) [link] Its a Period Piece/Historical Drama with comedy, romance, princesses, prophesy, political intrigue, love triangles, ninjas, and villains that you can relate to (you actually sympathize with the main villains, even if you don't agree with them). The acting is fantastic for an Asian production (usually I find Asian live-action drama too insincere, but this hits the mark), the costumes are fantastic, and even though you know they changed some things to accommodate what they didn't know about History or to make the story move better, it never lost its sense of realism (except for the part where a Roman is played by a bleached blond Korean, but that's just for one or two episodes). This series is finished, and its about 70 1-hr eps long, so its pretty manageable. And addictive. Be sure to clear your weekend!
Oh, if you like villains, you'll LOVE Mishil. If you loved tortured souls, you'll love Bidam. If you love a good story, you'll love the whole series
Do you think you could post a follow-up journal with a list of Asian shows that you'd recommend or that have been recommended by you (and possibly where to find them online)? I've been trying to search through the comments, but my internet browser's being screwy.

And I usually love the villains, so I'm cool with that too.
